Areas
Through the partnerships of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and the Graduate School of Education at Peking University (PKU), this proposed project will focus on three research areas that are well-aligned with China’s common prosperity framework. These research areas are:

(1) technology-enabled personalised learning and inclusive future learning environments;
​
(2) technology-enabled professional development of the education workforce at scale;
​
(3) curriculum reforms due to digital transformation and the changing demands of the future workforce.
Research Area 1
Research Area 1 explores AI-driven language assessment and AI-enabled personalized STEM education in schools.

Research Area 2
Research Area 2 focuses on technology-enabled teacher professional development (TPD) during the pandemic and assessing the effectiveness of intervention on in-service teachers' occupational well-being.

Research Area 3
Research Area 3 is about the use of technology in language learning, specifically technology-enabled Chinese learning and technology-assisted personalized English language learning.
